Saying Goodbye to Winter

I know it's not popular among most, but I LOVE WINTER! I like the cold weather and layering my clothes. I don't mind overcast skies. And I love rainy days. But, alas, it is time to move on to the next season, so I thought I'd take some pics of my winter decor. After I took the Christmas decorations down, I decided to do a winter theme on my hutch. I left the Christmas plates because they are winter trees but adjusted a few items.

I bought the woodland animals at Marshall's and Ross, while the little green cupcake pedestal came from Target for $5. The dome was found antiquing. The floral arrangement, I did myself with a 50 cent garage sale container and florals from Hobby Lobby, Finally, my sleigh was another Goodwill find.

This pretty white kitty below belonged to my uncle who passed a couple of years ago.

These plates cost nearly nothing at Goodwill, but I paid about $6 for the salt and pepper shakers at an antique store. They are 70's Japanese.

I received the cardinal dishes for Christmas from my parents one year. The kitty cracker holder was a thrift find, and the sugar dish and creamer are marked Wolfram Wiesau, Bavaria, 1970. They are gilded and belonged to my mother.
