Happy Tuesday!
You can find fun facts for kids on the National Geographic Site. We had fun listening to all the State Bird songs while we studied the states, too.
Jaxson did a coloring sheet. You can find basic State coloring pages by Crayola here but we used the cute ones I found here.
You know sometimes things don’t go as planned. We were doing Georgia and I planned a tea party and a peach cobbler. We had a glass baking pan explode right in front of us. But the Lord God protected the babies and though we had large and small shards of glass literally everywhere to the other side of the kitchen island, zero glass got on Gramma's babies. The way it forcefully exploded, this was totally God’s protection. Cleaned our mess, dumped our ingredients, and started over. Jaxson said I need to buy his mommy a new pan.
It was another good opportunity to talk about 911 and practice the address and also to discuss how science experiments are sometimes dangerous and don’t always go as planned. Thankful!
P.S. if you can’t tell about the last pic, it’s Ella Mae sitting in my lap with her high heels on.
Georgia Day was November 10, 2020
